Safety Training
In our strive for continuous improvement and safety, the Vanguard Safety team launched the online training platform to provide safety training to everyone at Vanguard Companies. The new system includes both safety and company required training and will replace the majority of the classroom training sessions. A key benefit to the new system is the ability to assign safety training modules based on employees’ job function.

October Employee of the Month – Armando Perez
Armando has been with Vanguard Companies since August 2007 running the cutting lab as the Cut Lab Assistant. Armando was nominated for his commitment for demonstrating a high level of responsiveness to meeting customers needs. His impact in the company is recognized through his consistent reliability, respect and collaboration within Vanguards design, customer service and sales teams. Armando acts with purpose and instills confidence with his team members creating a high level of trust in his work.
September Employee of the Month: Kirk Fletcher
We would like to announce the recipient of September Employee of the Month—Kirk Fletcher. Kirk has been with Vanguard Companies since January 2020 working as an Ink Technician working in Production. Kirk was nominated for his impactful and collaborative contributions for working between his role as Ink Technician and covering Tooling on the production floor while short staffed. He also took lead in organizing the shop floor to help the cleanliness of the facility, helping with the safety of our production floor.
